Sewing Improv

Sewing Improv In-Person

In this sewing improvisation event we'll select fabric from our boxes of small scraps and sew it together to make bigger fabric. The bigger fabric could then be used to make other crafts like a covered pencil holder, a pocket for a tote bag, or an abstract wall hanging.

The two creative styles we'll show are crazy quilt style and monochromatic style, but you are welcome to sew any style that makes you happy.

You should have basic sewing skills. For example, you should be able to thread the sewing machine and sew a straight stitch.

No registration required. This is a come and go event, but you should plan to spend half an hour or more selecting and sewing your fabric.
