Open/Alternative Textbook - Information Session In-Person

Join Drs. Brian Lindshield and Andy Bennett and faculty from K-State Libraries' Center for the Advancement of Digital Scholarship for a discussion of the Open/Alternative Textbook Initiative. We'll review the grant selection criteria, the application process, the potential savings for your students, the adaptability of open/alt classroom materials, and resources for finding diverse educational materials for your course.

The Initiative provide grants from $2000-$5000 for instructors to adapt or create open or alternative resources. Find new, better, and less costly ways to deliver learning materials to students. Be part of the solution to make education more affordable for K-State students.
