Unix Shell and Git Software Carpentry Workshop In-Person

Join K-State Libraries and the Agricultural Research Service (ARS) from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Aug. 5-9, 2024, for a Software Carpentry workshop on Unix shell (command line) and Git. This free, in-person workshop will be held in Hale Library, room 359. Registrants may attend the entire day or opt to attend only the Unix shell (command line) workshop in the morning or the Git workshop in the afternoon.

Carpentries workshops develop fundamental data skills needed to conduct research. Its target audience is researchers with little to no prior computational experience, and its lessons are domain-specific, building on learners' existing knowledge to enable them to quickly apply skills to their own research.
