Consensus AI

Consensus AI Online

Explore how Consensus, an AI tool designed for library research, can help you quickly find and understand evidence from scholarly literature. In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn how Consensus works, practice using natural-language questions to surface relevant studies, and interpret AI-generated summaries. We’ll also discuss strategies for verifying sources and integrating Consensus responsibly into academic research workflows. Time is included for guided practice and questions.

K-State has a trial of Consensus AI. It has access to many of our paid journal subscriptions, which makes it different from the free generative AI tools like ChatGPT or Gemini. Let's explore the features of this tool and discuss how it can help with your library research.

Part of the Learn AI for Library Research series.
