AI for Web Searching Online
Searching the web with AI is different from typing keywords into Google—and it comes with new strengths and risks. This interactive session explores AI-powered web searching tools and techniques that can support topic exploration, background research, and question refinement. Participants will practice crafting effective prompts, comparing AI-generated results with traditional search results, and identifying common pitfalls such as missing citations or hallucinated sources. The workshop includes hands-on activities and time for questions.
Part of the Learn AI for Library Research series.
