The Journal Impact Factor, Eigenfactor and the H-Index

The Journal Impact Factor, Eigenfactor and the H-Index

In this hands-on session, we’ll cover finding and using journal and author-level metrics for journals and for your own research. Learn how metrics are created, how they are used (and when they shouldn’t be), how they can affect the success of a journal, and how they can be used to improve the visibility and impact of your own research.

CADS at K-State Libraries aims to create a community of editors on campus who can share resources and learn from each other’s experiences.

This workshop is open to both scholarly editors and authors who actively participate in the scholarly publishing process.

Thinking about becoming an editor for a journal or other series? Email your contact information to cads@k-state.edu to add your name to the invite list for these and other events.
