Editors Forum - Peer Review: an Essential Component of Scholarly Publishing

Editors Forum - Peer Review: an Essential Component of Scholarly Publishing In-Person

Faculty at K-State who serve as editors or editorial board members, whether new or experienced, are invited to join the Center for Advancement of Digital Scholarship (CADS) and New Prairie Press to discuss managing the peer review process. We hope to learn from each other by discussing standards for peer review and identifying best practices for finding and keeping reviewers for journals.

Editors from journals based on campus or internationally are invited to join current editors and administrators of NPP journals and conference proceedings for this brown-bag lunch event. CADS will provide coffee, tea, and cookies.

CADS’ goal is to create a community of editors on campus who can share resources or trade war stories. If you're thinking about being an editor of a journal or other series, make sure you are on the invite list for this and other editor focused events: Email your contact information to cads@k-state.edu
