Open/Alternative Textbook Initiative Application Informational Session In-Person
Faculty and instructors of K-State are invited to join the Center for Advancement of Digital Scholarship (CADS) for an information session that will discuss the Open/Alternative Textbook Award Application process with a specific focus on the requirements and selection criteria for the award. In addition, benefits of using open/alternative educational resources and/or open textbooks for classroom instruction will be discussed as well as some of the myths surrounding it. The information session should last about 30 to 40 minutes and leave approximately 20 to 30 minutes for questions.
