The Library and Your Research: Managing Your Research and Publication Impact

Have you published or are looking to publish?  Well, know your author rights!  Don't get caught unprepared using others' works or in managing the copyright of your own research or publications.  “Can I use it?” is a question that often arises among graduate students.  Come to this session to get to know your rights as an author and how to reuse content, including your own works, in your ETDR.  While we’re at it we’ll be doing a crash course in copyright, so you’ll learn how to answer when your advisor asks “did you get permission to use that?”  Finally, learn some quick tips to help increase your readership and citation counts.

The Library and Your Research is a free workshop series that helps graduate students enhance and professionalize their scholarly pursuits.
